Default Need some Graphics advice!

I have a design a group that I belong to created that we am trying to get put on a T-Shirt. The design was first made for our website and not specifically for a T-Shirt. Once we had numerous requests to put it on a T-Shirt we started shopping around and were told that the design was too complicated to be put on a shirt via screen print. One company told us to do it as a transfer. I would REALLY like to have it screen printed. I don't know much about transfers but it seems to me that the shirt wouldn't turn out as well that way. If anyone that would like to take a look at it and let me know what you think PM me and I can email you the link to the picture! Thanks!

You can put a pic of the design right up and we will be happy to take a look.

I Know you can have that printed by a shop with a DTG printer that has white ink.

The art can also be screen printed by a printer that knows index and or simulated process.

When a print shop tells you it cant be screen printed it usually means they cant do the job. I cant do the job as well simply because I dont know enough about the two process mentioned to take on the work.

Inkjet transfer would need to be on opaque paper and contour cut but it isnt going to be anything like an actual on the fabric print.

You can post an ad in the classifieds on this forum for someone to get your printing done.

Read the thread about posting an ad.

I can not see your design in the link for some reason, but if your design is complicated and has many
colours, I suggest you not use screenprinting. If a design as many colours, during the vector conversion process,it is hard to seperate the colour especially some transparent colour and once you get the colour seperated file for printing, it may cost you a lot to screenprint the design in the tshirt for the more colour
the design has,the high cost it will take!

Looks like a 7 color print, standard 1/2 tone job. The only problem I see is that the artwork was generated for the web and does not have enough resolution to print cleanly.

Why don't you try the DTG printing method. The print turns out to be really good and you'll save much more money than if you have it screen printed (it all depends on quantity).
