Need to Register?

I have Venice Beach in solid blue letters with a rectangle around it. Robo Craft 200 is only cutting out the rectangle without cutting the letters inside the words Venice Beach. What am I doing wrong?

I don't have a robocraft but I do have a cutter. Perhaps you have to weld all so that it cuts the letters out of the rectangle.
