This is only my 4th job, and I have a question about the artwork that I was supplied. The guy sent me an 800 x 600 72 DPI file. I'm not sure if this would make a good screen or if I should have it redrawn in illustrator.
Re: Can I make screens from this? 800 x 600 at 72 dpi
my 2 cents...
I would advise them that the artwork is not ideal and that if they still want you to use it, then have something for them to sign basically saying that they understand "crap in = crap out".
If they want you to recreate it you could do one of two options...
1. recreate it and charge like $60 to do it.
2. use one of the $15 online vector redrawing places and still charge $60 (you get $45 for doing nothing).

Definitely can not be printed. Luckily it is very easy to clean up and trace using your corel/illustrator 'live trace' type function... i did a quick trace using illustrator that took 30 seconds.. i uploaded it for you to see. Its will still need a good 15-20 mins of clean up to be perfect but its a start. good luck.
