Default Need help (old school style)

Hello everyone,
In my three years of business, I haven't come across this problem that is probably more common then I realize.

I am doing shirts for a school, and they have provided the artwork. The problem is that it is hand-drawn.

I use Corel for all of my art work, and have always been able to get the artwork in a computer format, or have done the design in-house.

I think I will need to take the artwork to Kinkos and have them scan it (it's pretty big), then I can import it into Corel.

Or, is there another way?

Thanks for your help!

Boomer

A4 scanner and a bit of cut-and-paste should be good enough?

Is this something that Kinkos could do (as you can tell, I am a "scanner" dummy)?

I have a tiny scanner on my personal PC printer that couldn't do the job.

I COULDN'T DEAL WITH 1 YEAR WITHOUT A SCANNER, YET ALONE 3! iF YOU DON'T USE IT A LOT, YOU CAN GET A FAIRLY INEXPENSIVE 3 IN 1 HP FOR UNDER $200. If I have things that are too big for the scanner, I'll just take a real good quality digital picture. That works too.

I've gone 3 years without the need. Like I said, I haven't come across a freehand drawing. I do have a small HP printer with a scanner, but this is too big for that.

I have a HP All-in-One with a legal size scanning bed. I have on occasion had to scan an image in parts then put them together in the program. It is more work but if no one has the size scanner you need you do the best you can.

I definitely would not buy a scanner unless it has the legal size scanning bed. Just makes things easier.

take a picture of it, import it to corel, and re-create it yourself or pay a few bucks and have it vectorized by a raster to vector conversion service
