Post How NOT To Design A Logo

Logo design in today’s world is totally under rated.

People do not understand how important a good logo is and how valuable it is to their business.

This article outlines the ways in which you should NOT go about getting your logo designed.

Great advice, well worth a read.

They tried to make me buy a logo but i said NO, NO NO!!!!!

Default Re: How NOT To Design A Logo

While I agree that most small businesses don't place enough emphasis on getting a quality brand designed (brand is so much more than a logo), not all businesses can afford to jump straight to getting it done the "right" way.

In most things I apply the up-and-not-perfect over down-and-perfect philosophy. Meaning, it's better to have a $149 logo and be out there doing business, than saving up your money to get a full brand designed in 5 years.

But, and this is a strong but, that $149 logo needs to upgraded when appropriate. Much like buying an entry level heat press to get started, and then upgrading once rolling. If you can start out with the professional heat press, then that is always better.
