Default Quick question on dpi and mesh count?

I want to know if I have a 300 mesh count, what's the best dpi I should put my image in PS?

You should always design in ps at 200-300dpi. You can print to your printer at 720dpi or 1440dpi. You can use 55lpi halftones for 300 mesh.
Dont confuse lpi with dpi, they are not the same thing. It can be confusing.

300dpi is usually fine for most jobs, you can often get away with less.

okay thanks, but why when I print the image off photoshop it turms out smaller than what I want, it says image size is 13x17? How can I make it print 13x17

Be sure your paper sizes are correct in your print preview window and your printer driver set-up window.
