Default Printing black on black?

Hello all! First poster here. Hope you can help.

I built an image in Corel that uses a black starfield. That is, the image is an outer-space starfield that is mostly black with some stars and galaxies in white.

I have made it totally B&W. On top of that image I added some text in a bright yellow.

There is no border around the image, but my concern is the transition from the black shirt and the printed black starfield will be noticeable.

Will that work OK or is there a way to make sure only the stars print (white) and use the black of the shirt as the background?

If I sound confused....I am.

Here is a link to a small sample of the image:

You would be fine to leave out your black color entirely and rely on the shirt for your black. Otherwise, sooner or later the black will show as a black square on your fading shirt.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking.

I know I want to end up with just the stars and galaxies to print on the white screen, but don't know what to do next.
I've removed backgrounds from jpg's and saved them as transparent gif's, but I'm unsure of how to remove all that black the stars are surrounded by.

Thanks again!

Edit:
If the printer just burns the screen from the image, will the black background disappear leaving the stars?
