Default changes of color not saving

I have a very simple design with only five objects and am trying to adjust the shades of color (using RGB palette) in each curve but when I open it back up the colors have reverted back to what they were.
Everything I have tried has failed.
- copying it to a new doc and saving
- re-saving it under a new name
- and this is the best one. I put a hairline (in CMYK) around all the objects, removed the uniform fills and saved under a new name. It opened just as I saved it so I put the new colors back in (in RGB) and saved the file under the same name as the hairline object. Opened the file back up...IT REVERTED BACK TO THE OLD COLORS! How is this possible? Can somebody please help me?

Jackie, that is a weird one. Try converting them to spot colors or I would reinstall Corel. Best of luck. Another thought PM Fluid and ask him he's the best at Corel.

Hi jackie

I remember the posts in the coreldraw.com forum on this. Are you still having issues?

Yes I am. This weekend I was going to reinstall X4, but if I don't have to that would be great.

Where are the other posts? I tried to research them but didn't find anything similar.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey Fluid. I just re-read your post and realized that you said "coreldraw.com forum", not this one. Blond moment

Not only am I having issues with saving adjusted shades of the same color, the Edit Bitmap icon no longer works and the fonts are doing funky things. Which is why I decided it may be best to re-install the program. Any thoughts?
