Default roland cutstudio file format problem

Hi guys,

I am trying to import a .AI and .EPS into cutstudio for cutting but says its an unsupported file format!

Even thought it says it supports: BMP, JPG, STX, AI, and EPS file formats.

Any ideas why this is happening? I need to cut this stuff asap, so any help is good help!

Have you installed the AI CutStudio plug-in???

Try saving down to Illustrator 8 (or is it 10?). You cannot import later versions of Illy files using the Import function in CutStudio.

Ben, what version of Illustrator do you have? You may need to update CutStudio if you have CS/3.

You can do that in the Support Wizard on Roland DGA Corporation - North and South America

I have installed everything from the CD but still no luck.

I using a Mac with VM ware fusion (which runs Windows, within a window) with cutstudio running in there. But that should make no difference at all.

Cant find out to update cutstudio or anything... not going well today!

I'm having the same problem. I'm using CS4 with Vista 32 bit. I'd be interested in a solution as well. I've been cutting everything right through CS4 for now.
