Hi ya"ll i have a problem with some of my screens that are fairly new, and this only happens with some of my prints not all. So i do a print job, clean the screen, degrease it, so then i have a clean screen i coat it let it dry then expose it. The exposure goes good but when i print the ghost of the last design i did shows threw the paint on my new design, what the heck is goin on. I tried using clorox,screen opener,tons of mineral spirits and i cant figure it out can someone please help?

That's a new one. That really is a "ghost" image.

Are you using screen printing chemicals to reclaim and degrease the screens? When reclaimed, can you see a ghost image? If so, are you then using ghost removal chemical to remove it before reclaiming?

Are you using a pressure washer on the screens? If it's in the image area from your last design, they're contaminated with either ink residue or whatever your using to clean the screens with.

i get the ghost image on alot of my screens, but i have never had it show up as a print on my new image. all i can say is make sure your using a good haze remover.

Thanks guys,yah ima try the ghost remover cause those screen are useless to me and it sux cause there less than about 8 or so jobs old!
