[CorelDraw] - Why my letter A Keeps filling in with color?
I'm sure it is a simple setting I have and cannot figure it out.
I have a letter A that keeps filling in, in the center.
I have not contoured it too much. When I check the cut file it is okay, but what I see is all black. If I was to print it out it would not have an opening in the center.
Appreciate someone telling me what I have set wrong, and I'm not finding it.
Linda with lindaschallenge!!!!!!
Your suggestion sounded so good, but I click on the center and fill with white,
then pick entire letter plus center and nothing happens. Group doesn't come up for me either.
When you said the background color, I supposed you meant white, right?
Sorry, there must be something else I may have set not knowing what it is.
Guess I need to bother you again. Do appreciate your time.
Thanks, Linda
combine them....maybe that will help
also if you lookin wireframe and see the vectors it should cut regardless of what colour you see in enhanced view.

Reason: more stuff to say.
Thanks again, it is starting to storm so I need to unplug everything.
Will try getting it to the cutter in the morning and see what happens.
Thanks for your time.
This Forum is great with all you guys on here that know what you are doing.

Sounds like a curve direction issue.
if the above doesnt work and still filled, break apart again and select the inside A. Press F10 or dbl click object and look for the small icon in the property bar. Theres 2 arrows in a circular path with a horizontal one. Make sure it would say something like Reverse Curve Direction. Do that then select both pcs for the A and combine.
Thanks everyone, I now have the opening in the middle of the A. Thanks to all of you. I had been messing with it so much I got it off center, after making sure it was straight, it was back to like it should be.
Probably sounds pretty simple to all of you, but now you see why I have
linda's challenge ! When I have worked on something so long than someone like all of you help, it's just like I had won the lottery only without the money!!!!! It makes me feel good!!!!!!
Big THANKS!
