Default Need expertise on film separations, dark T print, PMS

Hello all. I have a full back print that will be sent for high resolution film output. I am using a duo-tone image as part of the graphic, PMS 348U Green and black on that. And then the remainder of the image will be CMYK simulated I guess. This will be printing on a black shirt, full back. My question is this, Should I just convert the Duo tone portion to process, and forget their logo color (the PMS) only using it in the actual logo portion of the print? Or another way to go would be to use the PMS separated out in the pallet portion of the print, but I want the full range of color (however limited that may be in this case) on this product shot. There will be two white prints, lettering, and halftone flash under base. Do I need to set up the full PS file with all colors or with the film sep people do that with their plug in for PS simulated process output. I've never done color separations in PS before.

Thanks in advance
T Mac

OK. Guess I must not have phrased the question properly. I've just decided to convert all to simulated 4 color process print, along with a spot color PMS, and a flash white. That should get the job done. Thanks to all who read the question, have a good day.
