I used the search feature, but I couldn't find the answer. Last year I downloaded some files called fine-distressed.tif, medium-distressed.tif, etc. I can not find the READ ME file. This was downloaded from a screen printer site and now those files are gone.
I'm trying to remember how I used these files to create some cool files my printer used to make some shirts.
I use PhotoShop and Paint Shop Pro (I know, its old).
A tutorial on how to take an image and make it distressed using these files would help too.
Re: Help with creating a distressed logo on t-shirt
These sound like the files Scott Fresner had on the original USScreen site as free downloads. Someone who had these files could probably e-mail them. I have them on an old computer but I haven't yet gotten them off the old hard drive.

I also had them, just checked are are no more. I did get some good ones from Advanced Artist cd, I have the power bundle but am sure you dont need the whole bundle for it. AdvancedArtist.com
check it out.
Re: Help with creating a distressed logo on t-shirt
Real simple-take a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 and crumple it up. Flatten it back out and scan it as a black & white 1 bit image-mess around with the threshold settings to get different levels of detail. Save the file and import it into corel, make the background of the distress transparent (no fill) and the outline your background color (or shirt color) and place it on top of you image.
