Default Help!!

Hey guys.

I got made redundant from my job last month and have really been looking into starting my own Clothing line, with T-shirts / hoodies and Baseball caps.

The only thing is I am not the best when it comes to design. So i came across a site Called DeviantArt and was thinking of getting Designs from the members.

But once i purchase a design, how and can i get some kind of copyright on the Designs?? or can the actual Designer stop me from doing this??

Also i came across a site called Gomedia which sells design packs ranging from skulls, spray paint etc. I'm not to sure what software to use once i purchase a pack. Do i use Adobe illustrator or Photo-shop?

Sorry, im new to this and im trying to get as much info as i can. So you will probably see alot more posts across the forum.

Thanks,
Carl

AI, Corel and or Photoshop are all good creation tools. AI and Corel are vector based apps and photoshop is raster or photo based. A free app. is inkscape. Go Media create vector packs for your design use. There are many folks that do this type work. Check out T-shirt factory.

Default Re: Help!!

when you buy stuff of deviant art and go media there is usually a 'TERMS AND CONDITIONS' (which most people just skip) or a 'READ ME' file. those should contain some helpful information on the copyright details and if you can use it for personal or commercial use...
