i have a question i hope any one could help me with.
sometimes the designs that i want to print are designed in a confined rectangular or square areas, and i always hated the blotches of rectangles and squares on tees. So my question is, what can i do, graphic wise, to sort of make the edges all around the rectangle some what irregular and blending with the shirt rather than defined sharp lines, while maintaining the core of the design intact..
thanks
but i am quite a newbie at this
could you please tell me in steps how to do this distressed frames or maybe a link to a how to article about it with examples
You could have a background image and work in photoshop saving the images as transparent gifs, outline the shirts in photoshop and use the refine edge tool to make them beautiful, then layer , new vs cut.
You should be able to find a tutorial on adobes website search the refine edge tool.
However all said and done you images doing this will usualy be a larger file size and slow down the users loading of the site.
Go look for free vector grunge borders, frames etc.
Just place the vector elements around your pic to get a rough border look.
Fill the vector to the desired background color or white usually.
resample the pic and crop if needed.
Once you have the vector elements you just build frames ready to go.
