Default Commonly Used Words..

A lot of fashionable shirts these days have writing or words on them.

What words are commonly used or do you think should be used on trendy t-shirts?

Any input is appreciated!
(If everyone who views this can add a couple words, that would be great!!)

Right off hand I think about things like Rad, Right On, Word Up, Peace. But current wording so many times can put an expiration date on a shirt. I would open a dictionary and just point to a word. Let that help you gain ideas.

^ agreed. You gotta be careful with common words. Rather than use words already made significant, use words/phrases that you want to be significant. This way when people think of them, they automatically think of you/your brand

Thank you Jem and Sonambulo! Great advice. Thats very true that using commonly used words in my designs may just drown them into the many others like it. Thank you for opening up my eyes to that!!

It's really not a popular trend but I started taking words out of the dictionary and using the entire dictionary format on the shirt. For example one of the more popular shirts I sell is this one:

sar-casm
[sahr-kaz-uhm]
-noun
1. harsh or bitter derision or irony.
2. a sharply ironical taunt; sneering or cutting remark: "You are truly a genius for reading this!"

This is particular one has a few different example texts. I also use Irony, Idiocy, Beauty, and Procrastination which is only half of the definition. Another method I used once was putting a person's name and enunciation with the definition and example text of Beauty.
