Default logo printing easibility

I have a logo with a couple of gradient fills, will this cause screen printing problems? Would it be considered two or three color process?

Are there any other problems that could arise from this particular type of logo style?

Really new at this, so any help anyone could provide would be great.

Just change all of the "black" color to a spot color, and then print at a 35-55 lpi halftone.
You should be able to pull it off with 1 color.

You should be able to print black as a single colour without changing to spot?

But it's not all black, it's a gradient fill with grey in there too. i just want to make sure that the logo doesn't get messed up b/c of the gradient fill.

It is two colors at the most. Only two colors if you want the white in your logo to print white. If the white part is acutally nothing, just shirt color coming through, then it is only a one color print. It is a black halftone sep for all the solid black & gradient parts. You have to convert the black stuff to halftone and have postscipt printer (or a RIP if you don't) to do the halftone film positive.

I would print a grey underprint and black halftones on top of it.
