need a printer that prints both signs and on cotton fabric
need a printer that prints both signs and on cotton fabric
Does anyone know of a printer than can print directly to both fabric and be used for posterboard/canvas signage? I can't tell if Brother or any othe rmajor printer sells anything like this where you can swap inks for different substrates. Does dye sublimation work on signs?

Not sure if anyone offers a package like that, but there are hybrid large format Epsons (8 color Ultrachrome systems converted to print 2 different CMYK inksets) and many of the Direct To Garment printers are merely Epsons converted to flatbed printers, so what you are asking is possible if not currently offered.

Depends upon the signage.
POP displays? Sure.
Outdoor signs? No. None of the available sub inks hold up well outdoors and will fade quickly.
