Default HOW DO YOU CROP/RELAYER in CS3 Photoshop??

Hi,

I'm a newbie. I have CS3 and I need to cut out(Crop) only the tshirt in the pic that i have taken. I will need it on a solid white background or black background. Can someone please provide me the steps in doing this? Thanks!

only, make a selection, copy (or cut) and paste, cs3 automatically make a layer with the object that you cut, then make a new layer under the object and fill it in white or black.

1. duplicate layer (ctrl+j)
2. Goto the first layer and fill black or white (shift+f5 and in the 'use' box.. select white or black)
3. Goto the second layer and erase the background (you can use the erase tool or the magnetic lasso and remove the unwanted stuff.)
