Default Can these be done with HEAT xfer VINYL?

hi i am new to the tee shirt community and i have some questions that i hope you guys can help me with .. so i came to the conclusion of doing heat xfer vinyl. But i want to make it professional and willing to put the extra mile to make it that way. i was looking at a site before and saw a few designs i thought were pretty intresting.. and hoping if you guys know if this can be created with the process im doing and if not what technique..

and whichever printing method its using, could you guys explain how they came about making it like that? =] thanks!!

Vinyl would be a nightmare, a transfer would work fine w/ a graphics program that you could give these the distressed look, which some seem to have. Have a look at Advanced Artist. They have all the goodies for this stuff.

i dont think vinyl is the way to go with these. seeing as how all the shirts are light colored..i would go with sublimation. you can have someone print out the transfers for you and you can do the pressing yourself (im assuming you have a heat press). plastisol transfers would also do, but most places that make plastisol transfers require a minimum quantity to order.

those shirts were definitely NOT done using vinyl. they were screen printed IMO. i don't know much about dye sublimation method or dtg but the 'all-over' and 'wrap-around' method shown in your pics would lead me to believe screen print.

if you don't have budget or room to start up your own print shop just farm it out to a local shop that can competently do the job. you won't make as much money but at least YOUR designs will be out there. -good luck.
