Default question.

in photoshop, how would u go about getting a design to "wrap" around the legs of these shorts. where the shorts turn, i need the design to turn. i want the design to wrap around the hamstrings.

you could use the warp tool or a displacement map. for your specific need, just use the warp too.

edit>transform>warp

if its a vector image you dragged in from illustrator or something, rasterize it before hand. good luck.

Usually this type of design is created in illustrator and there is a warp filter that is used for that. I don't often use photoshop for any kind of line art as it pixelates it, but Im sure it works almost the same. I use photoshop CS4 so I don't know if the older versions have it...

Try this:
convert layers u want warped by grouping and creating a smart object. and leave the shorts on its own layer so they do not get the effect.
select the layer you want warped.choose edit>transform>warp. It should lay a grid with handles and lines that you can drag to warp the layer. then press enter...
Mess with it to get used to it.
