Hi, sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm a complete newbie and need some help. I just watched this tutorial on how to make heat transfers: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ub5c65vcP-o And it's a good video but they were only showing how to do one color designs. I want to make shirts like they have a kurtsshirts.com or at the mall, the shirts there have many different colors on them.

How do I do it, though? Do I need a special printer to print more than one color?

You can buy heatpress transfers papers that fit in your home inkjet printer (8.5"x11"). Whatever colors you print on the paper will show up on the shirt. I know they sell them at your local walmart/target. Usually in the crafts section. They arent the best quality but they will give you an idea of how it works.

I dont think all those shirts are heatpressed form kurkshirts'... a bunch look screen printed. take a look at the links below to get a bit more information on the different processes...
