Default HEEELLP on gimp PLEASE :(

hey guys ... im keshia aka keshNesh.... im really need help on editing my work an making it look ligit for a t-shirt... im fearly new to this whole t-shirt game but what i know so far is to scann my drawing to gimp.. but apart from that nothin else ..... i would really like to know how to edit it an stuff ... give it the graphic look ... please help me if u could .. thank u very much !

there are lots of tutorials on gimp on the web, definately run through the getting to know gimp ones, helps a lot. You may also want to look at getting yourself inkscape, more powerful and allows you to start tracing and delving deeper!

I think you can get a book on Gimp at either Borders books or Barnes or Noble..or Amazon..remember when you scan an image..it is a bitmap/jpeg...not a vector image..Gimp is a photoshop wannabe...depends on what process you are going to use will determine what else you need...if you need vector..there is inkscape.org which is also free and like adobe Illustrator...check it out... learning graphics will take time..it is not a one or two day exercise

They also have a free vector draw program. FreeSerifSoftware – free software downloads Another option. Mike

Inkscape. Draw Freely. and I had forgotten about Serif software...that has been around a long time
