need to find the sources

Hi - What kind of subject matter are you looking for? Or market/age group? Some have placed ads in Craigslist, etc. It may help to narrow down the kinds of art you want. Many artists out there (me included) can do a wide variety of styles. Best to you!

Like nzg said, it depends on what you are looking for. I do all my own art, but there are a ton of vendors out there that offer vector graphics that cover just about any subject you need.

For example, if you're looking for sports/mascot type art, and you don't want to do your own, try T-shirt Design for Custom T-shirts

If you're looking for an actual artist, and you don't want to spend much, check out your local junior college/college/university for their art department. Then advertise that you are looking for some art work. You can get students to do designs, and it's pretty cheap.

Just a stab in the dark but their probably looking for an overall artist that can draw just about anything.
Myself I'm no artist but I just got tired of paying someone to put something toghether when I could have drawn that.
