Make them up in Corel, as several pages and export to PDF, simple!
PDFCreator is an open source PDF printer that can print from non-pdf producing applications. Produces clean pdf and is free.

Use the Align/Distibute tool? especially if they're the same size.

With Corel, you don't have to export to pdf. You can publish directly to pdf from the file menu.

thanks for the replies but their not really helping me in my question, this is what i want to exactly do
1. somehow import about 100 images at once with the click of a button
2. align them in rows
3. save as a pdf file

It wouldn't take long to build a catalog in something like word then use PDF creator to turn it in to a pdf file.

Being able to just "click" and all of them turn in to it is probably going to take you longer to find a way than actually just doing it.

There is a Free program called Xnview you can use to make contact sheets. it will also display eps. files so you can add all the eps. files you have collected over time. http://www.xnview.com/en/downloadwin32.html

I ran into the whole "pdf." quandry quite by accident, sending art files to customers that didn't have my programs. Someone told me to send them as a pdf. and download it from you know who. I don't care much for this version especially since you have to pay for it after a few demo's.

I now use "cutepdf", a nice, free little program that acts like a standalone printer driver. I've done several pages (5 to 50) in Corel, MS Word and a couple of other programs. Simply put you do your layout, go to print and when the printer interface opens up you choose the "cutepdf" driver.

Instead of actually printing another window opens up asking where you want to save this pdf. file and viola~ There it is in all it's pdf. glory. www.cutepdf.com if you have problems with the site go to CNET and download from there. It's pretty cool and best of all it was FREE.

Take two aspirin and email me in the morning..

Another option is if you don't have or want to fork out for Microsoft Office you can download open office which is free (it can also open microsoft files) this has the option to save to pdf as standard.
