Well I think most people use illustrator over photoshop because (personally I think) its easier for vector art, I use photoshop mainly just for the use of the magic wand and then once im done with the object in photoshop I put it in illustrator, I just dont get what your asking about illustrator for screen printing. illustrator is used to create the designs, and screen printing is used for making the designs come real. They are two totally different things.

OK let me rephrase my question.....does anyone know where I can find some decent Illustrator tutorials for separating colors....printing halftones.....and just basic positive printing for screen printing?
Re: Where can I find some decent Illustrator tutorials for screen printing
It depends upon your setup. It depends which version of Illustrator.
Are you using a RIP? You need to print to the Adobe Postscript Driver, that will give you the separations options in the print dialogue box.
Then just open with your RIP and print.
If you aren't using a RIP, then you don't have the separations options and it's a bit more difficult, manual seps and composite blacks.
