Some of those effects are actually done in Illustrator and Photoshop - distressed effects are often done at the artwork level using a filter, rather than with washes after the garment is produced for example.
It depends specifically on what you're after.
If you're after a general primer on post-production garment processes such as enzyme washes, etc. I don't know of one (would be a great read though).
Other more artwork specific things will often have been covered or have an easier place to point to; depends on the issue in question.
