Default How can I make a picture comprised of several of several smaller pictures of the same?

How can I make a picture of several smaller pictures but of the same picture(ex. an apple made of lots of little apples). Not exactly like a photo mozaic. This would be in either corel or PS. Thanks.

In Photoshop you can create a clipping mask. Arrange it so your images layer is above whichever layer has the shape you are clipping to. Then right click on the layer and choose Create Clipping Mask.

This tutorial here explains a way (it does look like a mosaic though) . I am not sure if this is what you mean.
