Default Pointing tips on corel star

Help! I'm creating a regular star in Corel X3 and adding an outline. Promblem is, it's creating squared-off tips even with the pointed tip selected in the outline flyout. I've tried the adjustments and get points on a couple tips but not all. Anyone know how to get perfect tips.

you need to change the Mitre limit in the outline properties dialogue box. Fill the star with color and apply a contour. This will solve the mitre prob. Contour tool is Ctrl+F9 or Windows/Dockers/Contour

Thanks so much. I would have been working on that for many more hours.

Ya know, you could always reverse the outline to inline, given that it provides satisfactory results. We are supposed to move forward but sometimes going backwards completes the task. This doesnt apply to funky objects of course.
