Default Realistic foil on mock ups?

I'm currently using the GoMedia clothing templates for my mock ups, and everything look's extremely realistic. Except for the foil... Back when I used to use a template I found off DeviantArt, I just used this pattern I made from a image I found off Google, but there just has to be a better way to do this. Does anyone have any techniques, tutorials, patterns, textures, etc, to use to get a realistic foil print effect?

If you are using Photoshop, the best way I can think of would be to take some photos of actual sheets of foil and then use your artwork to create a mask. It would be on you if you wanted to take pics for every color foil you had available or to do it with silver foil and change the color in Photoshop if needed.

Try making your graphic using foil/metal images and masks like Rez_Yup suggested and then try out the technique shown in this tutorial - How to put realistic looking ‘prints’ onto T’s in Photoshop
