Is there any specific task that you need help with, or do you need overall instruction. For overall instruction, you may want to try the many tutorial sites out there for photoshop like lynda.com and the ones at gomediazine.com

This could be a good start: tutorial: how to design fashion t-shirts

Several places have it. GoMedia is one place, but if you search the forums using the search box at the top of the page for vector clipart, you'll find lots more sources in other threads.

You would be better off using Photoshop to design art similar to the Brand names you've listed. Doing it as a vector would be highly inefficient.

As far as getting artwork that is in a similar vein to the listed brands, you may want to investigate Victorian clip art books. Some of them even come with discs loaded with the stuff. Saves on scanning.
