Default GhostScript Halftone Rip CorelDRAW Macro

Seeking user imput about Ghost Script.

I have a programmer working on a Macro/Plugin that will let you set up your separations frequency and angles directly in CorelDRAW and then just click a print button to send your separations through ghost script and to your printer.

I am wondering if any of you have run into any issues with with ghost script that I sould be aware as we put this together? Dot density problems or other issues..

If you have used Ghost Script and have any issues that you can post here I could use the information to try make adjustments in the plugin accordingly as we wrap development.

Thanks in Advance.

Don't Corel have one - the print dialogue box?
Save setting - ctrl-P?

GhostScript is a little different in that you have to print to a Post Script file and then open the file in Ghost View to print your separations.. With the Macro we are planning to make the open source Ghost Script a bit easier to use and have the printing go straight threw from Corel... No need to open Ghost View or learn how to use Ghost View just print your separations from the Macro Plugin.

New users have tried ghost script but have had problems putting all the pieces together to make it work.. So we are just planning to simplify it for people that need a RIP and want to use a free solution...

Fred from image-it gave me a script that allows me to print directly from photoshop or illustrator or corel to my epson 4800 with ghostscript ripping the file. It works flawlessly! It works just like a full blown rip and my film is opaque.

Is that available online anywhere I would like to see it.. No need to reinvent the wheel. I get emails from screen printers trying to use ghost script and that would be a great resource for them

Ghostscript needs a little technical savvy to work properly, but what settings are you going to use in the macro, GS prints to your local desktop?
