Need a little help.

Got a vector image and some seperate text. when i put the image it goes over the text.

how do i bring the text forward so its in front of the vector image?

On the right hand side of the screen there should be a box with a list of your layers. They are in order of visibility, with the one at the top of the list being at the front. Click the layer you want at the front (in this case the layer with your text) and drag it to the top of the list.
