Hello, I have a design that I drew and then scanned and the worked on in photoshop and finalized... the problem is that my drawing was small and and the scan was in low resolution so when we "blew" it up it was pixelated.
I understand what to do for future design , draw big and scan in high resolution.
This is my question , when working in photoshop the canvas is the size of my screen so what resolution should I work in to never have to worry about pixelation When resizing.

Somewhere between 150-300dpi at final size is adequate for bitmaps.
If you never want to have to worry about pixelation when resizing - use vectors as in Illustrator!

As Dave said, for "never" you have to use vector.

300dpi is standard for high quality print, which means 600dpi is a common resolution for editing images intended for high end print work.

However 150dpi is adequate for most printing.
