Default starting out!!!

hey so im just starting out and really have nothing but ideas running through my head....i really need a good, cheap (im a college student) ,maybe even free design software where i can put my ideas on a tee and make the magic happen...thanks

you can download photoshop... but you probably can get corel draw for a pretty decent price these days.

Inkscape is an open source (free) vector program. GIMP is an open source raster program.

Student versions of Adobe Creative Suite are often substantially (like 85%) cheaper than general commercial release.

Only for a thirty day trial. Which is a good way to see if you want to buy the program (you can do the same with other CS programs, and with Corel), but not much of a long term solution.
