Kelly if you don't have a thumbnail program this one on this site is really good Easy Thumbnails Software -- Free thumbnail utility from Fookes Software. Its called easy thumbnails and works great. Its pretty easy to understand too, you just have to input the size of pic you would like. Or if you don't want to load a program on your system for doing it, you can join a group such as photobucket and re size your images there. I find its much easier though to just use the easy thumbnails program, with it I can just right click the image and create thumbnail, and it does it Hope this helps

Hi Kelly. Do you have Corel Draw? If you do you can "convert to bitmap" to do so and its not very time consuming. Just pick a lower resolution on the box that pops up for all the settings.Hope I've made your day a little easier. Good luck.

If you have Outlook on your computer, you can go through the process of attaching the file to an email. Once you attach it, a box will pop up asking you what size you want to send. Once you choose a smaller size, it attaches to the email. At that point, just copy and save the attachment-it will be at the lower resolution.
This may work with outlook express too. I am not sure.

If you have photoshop you can go to Image --> size and then changed the pixel size to something smaller maybe half of the size it is now and re-save. It will still keep the quality, it just makes it a smaller size (dimensions and file size)

Well of course I am going to say easy thumbnails hehe, and then using the advanced setting on the upload part of your post When using photobucket you have to know how to copy the code from photobucket and the paste it in your post. Its easy but just more work of resizing it on there, and then copying it over to here. With the easy thumbnails, once its installed on your computer, you can just right click on any image in your pictures or documents, and then click make thumbnail and its there. You just look in the same folder as your picture for the file that has the name tn_whatever the file is named

Thanks, Bobbielee, I was hoping your program worked with TSF. Cool. Thanks everyone, I'll be trying out all of these, just to try them all out, and yes, you guys made my life easier. =)

Sounds like you have it covered. I've been a big fan of Irfanview, it can view pretty much any bitmap format, quite a few vector formats, and even many multimedia (sound/video) formats and it's much quicker than opening Photoshop or Corel just to view or manipulate a photo. Oh, and it's free, as in beer.
Re: How can I change a JPEG from a higher megapixel to a lower one? Thx. =)
I second Irfanview - it's free, easy to use, not as bloated and confusing as Photoshop when you just want to do straightforward things, like resize, sharpen, crop, adjust colors, etc.
