Default Need to seperate two checkered flags

I got this file from clipart.com, it's an eps file, but it's joined together and I want two seperate flags. I don't know how to split them up.

Take into Illustrator or Corel and 'ungroup' them. Objects menu.

I agree, ungroup them if they are grouped. if they are a solid shape, Use the pathfinder tool in Illustrator and divide them to what you require.

The flags are connected as you can see in wire frame. You are going to cut the flag on the right away close to where the two masts join. Delete the parts you cut away and use your tools to straighten the mast on the flag on the left. You then just copy the remaining flag and mirror it.

I have the file if you would like to PM me with your e-mail add.
