Hello, I have decided to go through with starting my t-shirt line. My problem is that I was creating them with uberprints.com, and their online design editor was super easy to work with. Now, I want to make my shirts with my fashion lab, but have no idea how to start this. They are more complex in design requirements. Ok so how do I start my ideas that i created with uberprints to CorelDraw or photoshop? Do I need to load a blank t-shirt template and then add my designs around the template? How would I know the measurements about this. I know i'm no expert on Corel or photoshop so any good starting off pointers would be appreciated
The designs you made at uberprints you are able to open in Corel or Photoshop?
What are the design requirements in fashion lab? Do you have a link?
You dont have to have a blank t-shirt template in Corel or Photoshop unless you want one. It's just a visual tool to see how your designs will look. When you are providing a file to the printer, especially a vector file like Corel, they can size it for you based on how you want. So even if you do supply them with your design on a shirt template sized to a regular sheet of paper, they can see how large it has to be to fit the shirt like you want.

Ok so basically the templates are for a visual representation. So the best thing to do is to make all of my images as big as possible for the best and clearest results.

If you are definitely going to use Fashionlab, then the best thing to do is to make your images as they suggest.
For the greatest versatility, a vector program like Corel or Illustrator is best because you can then size it to whatever size you want without losing sharpness. If you are going to use photoshop, then it should be made at actual size.
