Question AI C3 editing assistance

Never mind - I found the Pathfinder tool via searching the site and was able to do what I needed thanks!
-KA

I have some graphics I just bought that are multiple items that can be overlayed to make a picture. Persons head, shirt, pants, arms etc...
Each one has extra "lines" that ae great to ine items up and print but not to cut with my cutter for vinyl.
Is there an "edit node" area in AI Or is there a way to take the photo as I see it on the screen (with areas whited out so you do not see the lines) merge, and only get the "visible" layer?
It is simple stick outlines just those darn "extras" are killing me.
ok-
I tried to attach a copy but cant figure how to get a .eps small enough
