for clipart try Clipart - Download Royalty-Free Clipart, Images, Fonts, Web Art and Graphics

You've listed some of the better font sites. what type of fonts are you looking for that they don't have?

have a couple of collections by artistic edge if there still around, use different corel collections, and have old clickart brands. most of the purchased clip art is expensive and the odds of just the right item, weeelll. the art explosion brand has enough variation to use for base illustrations- for instance i use bowlers to build softball players because the basic form is close. delete a little, erase some- print redraw scan and vector. there are many graphics of items easy to modify. then insert wild type and your golden. fonts are the same display faces can be one off- but if you look for similarities the odd characters can be built without a lot of investment in time looking for a font that might have ten names and still will cost money for one job

I also modify a lot of the Explosion stuff, it's very crude and always needs touching up anyway.

Vector packs | T-shirt designs | Illustrations | Custom design

Go Media - Progressive Design Studio - Portfolio 2008

The big problem I have is organizing all the clip art. Explosion is well organized but some stuff is just a bunch of miscellaneous vectors in one file.

one of my best ideas was to re-burn the images to dvd. i was able to consolidate @20 something discs to 2 dvds. still need the reference book but it is far simpler. included the bitmaps because if you rework it anyway the vectoring gives the ability to resize.
