Default Taking the bigger step, risks?!

hey, as an update...i have made 3 shirts so far and they sell really well! the designs are good enough that people around my area like them. however i am only selling them around my school and its hard to get outside of the area. i am looking to host hardcore and hiphop shows to help promote but overall my online site is really plain. my main question is what should i do about the next set of shirts? should i spend more money to make them better looking. so far ive just been doing single color screen prints for really cheap.

If your single colored shirts are selling keep em around as long as you can. It'll help raise profits!

You've made one color designs look pretty dang good. I actually thought the one shirt could have been foil. Faux foil LOL I don't get the feeling that you skimped or cut corners to produce them just because they are 1 color.

As a customer would you feel that to take the business a little more seriously I would need to make more expensive looking designs??

make "fresh" designs from time to time and sell in the same area. stay there as long as your product is hot (while eyeing for some other area for future target).

make sure you're not "giving your t-shirt away". price it properly (covering all your costs).

am sure you are on top of these already. cheers!

Hi, if your designs are selling, why do you want to change them? I would put the time and money toward creating new designs for when these are saturated, marketing and working on the website.

When you have great designs don't get "tired" of selling them. Your designs look great. Try changing ink and shirt colors you will get additional sales of the same design.

You may want to contact your local community newspaper and ask them if they would like to place a article in the paper about your t-shirts. It would be great free advertising
