I need to find someone that could either do a vector design from a photo or if I could find a vector design already done of a Cushman motor scooter. I need it to be kind of realistic, like the car in Advanced Artist power training. Can anyone help me?
Re: Realistic Vector art design of Cushman scooter
These were not really what I'm looking for. I need someone that can do a vector design of a photo and make it look more like the photo than a cartoon on flat image. Any other suggestions??
Re: Realistic Vector art design of Cushman scooter
Thanks Rick. I had found the last two, but could not get on Techvector's site and had not seen the Wizard2. I sent him an e-mail. Maybe he can do what I want.
Re: Realistic Vector art design of Cushman scooter
Thanks Eric. I will send him an e-mail and see if he can help me out. He has a lot of Vespa scooters, but for a person that likes the nostalgia I was surprised that he did have any Cushman scooters. They are a lot older than the Vespa scooters are. And since Cushman is not in business any more he would not have to worry about the copyright on the logo, it is now royalty free.
Re: Realistic Vector art design of Cushman scooter
That is not the same company. It is the same name as the original scooters but the scooter company does not exist today. My father has collected the scooters for years and they quit making them I think back in the late 1960s or early 1970s and have released the logo many years ago. See the attached picture.
Re: Realistic Vector art design of Cushman scooter
Well I guess the economy is not hurting the vector artists at all. Of all of the suggestions that I found and that you all have suggested for me (Thank you to all of you too!) artworksource.com was the only one that even responded to my request for quotes on my pictures. They have already done two of the three pictures for me. They turned out good. I would have liked a little more realistic, but I think I can work with these and make them more what I want. I am just really amazed that no one seemed interested in doing any work for me. Are they really that busy and do not need any more work or are we just too small for them? I never said how much I was willing to pay or anything, but no one else seemed interested at all. Just really surprises me with our economy!!
Thanks again to all of you that helped me!!!

Re: Realistic Vector art design of Cushman scooter
I suspect the ultra realistic stuff was mostly showing off and the price for that level of detail would be astronomical (4-5 figures). Reading through that stuff I saw someone throw out a 100 hour time frame which I doubt was an exaggeration. I'm glad artworksource worked out, I've seen them recommended here many times although I haven't used them myself. I just might next time.
Re: Realistic Vector art design of Cushman scooter
They sure are fast. I sent them the pictures last night and I had 2 of the 3 back early this morning. Like I said they are not too realistic, but not bad.
