[CorelDraw] - Help! Need help getting good art for printing
This is what someone gave to me to put on a t-shirt. I'm not sure where the original artwork. The paper was folded in quarters and came out of someone's pocket. Unbelievable. Anyway, those of you with more experience, how would you take this to get good art to the printer. I may have to consider outsourcing it also, since I have four other jobs I'm working on while working another full-time job.
Ya, I counted around five colors but some of it looked like it was a fade. I would just do it as spot color with no halftones. I'll see if I can send it out.
Passing these along, someone else posted them previously...

You could also separate them in Photoshop, there was a tutorial posted recently on this website.
I checked out the sites and artworksource.com looked pretty cool. I'm going to check them out on this one. If I had time, I would work on it myself, but having too much work for a one-man shop is not too bad a problem to have. Now that I know about this place I can overwork myself even more.
i use vectormagic you can select your how many spot colors you want to vectorize a graphic into. i would change into sopt colors. using halftones for some shading.
The scan looks fine. My only question is how well the scan represents the art. Is the lettering really intended to look that way, or is meant to be blood red? The fold line adds character, but it can be removed.
What size shirts does the image need to be printed?
It looks good on the screen, so it would look great on a shirt.

The type is pretty much like a burnt baked clay color. I would change to red on the black shirt. Shirts are going to be mainly large, XL and probably 2XL. I woulld like to keek the look of the skull, but I'm not sure of the cost of having it printed that way.
The scan looks pretty close to the art. Not real bright, and somewhat a little dull.

What would be the process to getting it printed like this, using the sale shading on the skull. Does it still need to be converted to vector and then printed with four color process?
