Unhappy RIP Program

I have an Epson 1280 printer with a RIP program called PowerRIP Imageset from iProof Systems. I cannot get my separations to print halftones. Any suggestions ?

PowerRIP ImageSet will do both color halftones (for contract proofing) and monochrome halftones (for separation)

I'm going to assume you're printing to film... When printing from your application (Corel, Quark, etc.) select "Positive Film" as the output paper type, 1440 as the resolution, Monochrome as the color mode and then select either Document Defined halftone or one of the pre-defined halftones settings under the Screening setting. Click the Advanced button to get to these settings.

It is not possible, because when you install a program, it changes the registry too.

To print separations with halftones, you really need to be printing to a Postscript printer, usually a virtual printer installed with the RIP.
Choose separations as your output (AI) or tick the separations box in Corel. Depending on your RIP settings the file will be processed or be written to file.
