I have recently downloaded several vector packs of EPS images and am having some trouble importing them. The vectors I have downloaded are .EPS and supposedly very high quality. However, when I try to import them into CorelDraw12 one of two things happens. Either the image doesn't show up at all and their is a grey box stating for example: "EPS 10" with no image. Or the image will come into draw but the quality is horrible and has a checkered look to the image. Is this because CorelDraw12 is outdated or just poor downloads? Any help is always appreciated!
Where are these files from? The reason I ask is that I had bought some downloads from gomedia, and they had to fix the files as they were not opening properly in my corel x3. If they are from gomedia, contact them and they will fix the files for you Also have you tried just using the open command instead of importing, sometimes this solves file problems.

Does it still do it when you try to import one file at a time? In Corel 12, I had the same problem when trying to import multiple files, but not if I did it one at a time.
A quick and dirty trick is to sometimes rename the extension to PS for example test.eps ---> test.ps
They are basically the same type of file but corel treats them differently.
If you have Acrobat Distiller or some similar PDF creation software like JAWS PDF let them convert the file to PDF and Corel will happily take that no problem.
I think in Coreldraw 12, you don't import eps files by selecting EPS in the menu, it's the option for 'ps, eps, etc' it's about 5th down on the menu, but it's been a bit of a while since I used v.12 so could be wrong!
