I took a high resolution image of 1968 postage stamp featuring Leif Erikson.
Here is a low resolution version of it on wikipedia so you see what I'm talking about.
I then converted it to a vector graphic with vector magic. I'm using the pay as you go online version. This program did an amazing job. I have been having really good luck with that program!
I created a two color vector graphic with it that is tan and black. It needs minimal touching up by hand and it will be good to go.
The thing I can't figure out. I need to convert all the tan areas to white to print out a black positive. Then print it on a tan shirt. The color of the shirt will be the tan color.
I have Adobe Illustrator. How can I mass convert all the objects with tan fill into a white fill? I have done this by hand for some other images, but this one has hundreds of tiny tan spots that need to be changed to white.
Thanks a lot for your help.
I lucked out with this image, because according to wikipedia any US postage stamp older than 1978 is fair game for the public to use. This one beats the date by ten years.
