If I understand you correctly you want to use the artwork from Corel in the Cut Studio? I use Corel (suite 12) with the software. Two things that come to mind, which may be your problem (???)...
1. Are you "Importing" your artwork into the Cut Studio, instead of "opening"?
2. I also export my artwork from Corel (default was JPG). Then when I use Cut Studio, I import the new JPG file.
I don't know if this will solve the problem, but I, like you "learn as I go", or rather as I make my mistakes
First and foremost, I'd like to apologize for my random babbling...
And Thank you to all of those that responded...
To answer the question asked most...
Yes, I do import the file but when I try to import the file, I get that bad format msg...
dxl files...Um...I guess I may have over looked that in my save settings in corel, but I will try it again...
If I were to import a jpeg file, wouldn't the image be lacking in detail? In other words, vectors are crisp and clean and can be any size and it won't lose any of it's detail...I don't think the jpeg would come out clean in CutStudio...
As far as the plugin goes, I did add it in to the corel draw, but maybe I did it wrong...
What I did was load up the cutstudio cd, then from the GUI it say Core Draw plugin, so I click on install, then when I do that it says that I need to specify where in the corel draw to install it and I believe it is the "draw" folder and that is where I installed the plug in, then after I did that, it said that installion was complete.
Is there some kind of indicator in corel draw that the cutstudio plugin is in, by this I mean does the GUI for corel draw show some kind of but to go to cutstudio???
As far as postscripts, you lost me there bud...LOL but I'm gonna research that...
Again thanx yall...
I'm gonna try all methods explained and see what I'm doing wrong...
