I'm trying to create web bullets in Photoshop 6. I need simple, step-by-step directions. I start a new file with a width and height of 10 pixels, resolution of 72 DPI and RGB color. I change the marquee select tool to an ellipse and use the eyedropper to select a color from the color swatches. I draw the ellipse but when I'm done I receive a message saying that "No pixels were selected". What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
to test I used the bucket tool.hhmmmm I could not get an error. I get them from time to time, but its that I have so many layers open doing so much Didn't find the problem before it kinda works
make your selection, choose edit/fill from the top menu. in the resulting dialog box choose "color" in the fill "with" field, choose your color and click ok.
Are you saying that I should draw the ellipse before going to edit/fill? After I draw the ellipse and get the message I can't select anything (eveything is greyed out) until I click okay on the message and that removes the ellipse.
Yes, I'm able to draw the ellipse without getting the message. It fills in the center of the ellipse but the color isn't consistant throughout the ellipse.
