I am new to this forum and T shirt making. I have been searching this forum and the web in general and cannot completely find the answer to my question.

If I have missed the answer in another thread I apologize.

I have purchased the Avery Dark T-shirt inkjet transfers to make a couple of T shirts for Christmas presents.

My design is text only, no graphics. I want to print the text in white for a royal purple t shirt.

I have made other designs in Photoshop with transparent backgrounds but I am confused about whether white text would print. I have only been able to find 1 package of the Avery Dark T shirt inkjet transfers so I don't have a large margin for error.

If I create a text design in white with a transparent background on these transfers, will it print white?

When you us a dark transfer it uses the white of the paper to show white. I wonder if using white transfer instead would work. Been long time sense I us transfers though, the color may drop out as well.
