What would you prefer? Cuz i wanted to keep it more of an urban street look. But since I am affiliating it with a KING I was thinking of a Medieval type font.
In the obvious you have a distressed street font with a pawn image wearing a crown in the colors of swag and even using the word with the tag line, for mentioned. So a pawn a queen and a king and the gear is for everyone swag included. I think you might be covering too many bases. You want a home run out of the box so spell it out in a more condensed manner.
I definitely think that this one is a lot more easy to read than the first one you had posting. Since you have the whole King concept going on I would maybe try to play around with some older medievil fonts and put your own distess on them.
Looks like you are trying to pack too much into too small a space. Simplify, simplify, simplify.
Oh man i totally forgot about this post.
I'm sorry the Graphic you see Above isn't the Original Image that was in this post. I made a Banner for my myspace page and named it the same name as another FILE i had then uploaded it to photobucket then deleted the old one...which was the one in this post. So the new one uploaded shows up now instead. sorry about that...
I think simple quick identity in a brand name or logo is key. It doesnt have to be grunge or distorted...just did one kinda in the area you were already moving. The two different tag lines bother me as one eludes to Kings and Queens or royalty and the other Kings amoung pawns.
Those tag lines might be better used in actual different tee designs using the chess pieces within the designs. Now dont get me wrong I have nothing against a descriptive tag as these are just suggestions.
Here is a quick example.
A simple logo offers custom ability as you develope different lines or styles representing niche markets within your main target audience.

Yeah thats pretty hot to man! You don't mind actually taking your time to make an example for me? I mean thats ur own time ur using....u don't mind that?
But yeah man. I think i'll make my Tshirt logo very basic and simple...enough to catch someones eye...and not a lot going on.
But keep in mind the logo up top is more of a Banner. it isn't for the shirts. its just the header on my myspace.
